Acts 2: 42 says that the disciples:

“devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

We need to keep our eyes on God’s intention for His Church. It is not to build some worldly empire or to boost the ego of church leaders. It is about a community of those who have been saved from their sins growing together as they learn more of God from those who have already met with Him.

This is the fulfillment of the great commission to “make disciples of all nations”

It’s not all that complicated – let’s get back to the straightforward teaching and straightforward obedience to God’s commission for His Church.
