Judgement on the Nations
In Leviticus 18:23 God tells the children of Israel that “the land will vomit you out for defiling it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you” if they practice the evil deeds that the nations have practised.
There is a principle here that those whom God has chosen are not excused from His judgement. The nation of Israel was eventually ‘vomitted out’ for their evil deeds and scattered among the nations.
God will not excuse Great Britain for it’s immoral behaviour. The breakdown of family life, the debasing of marriage and of sex, the refusal to submit to any absolutes will be judged. Even if we do not leave this nation it will be transformed into something beyond our imaginations. Perhaps we will be invaded, perhaps we are being invaded even now by cultures and religions which are more moral than the so called Christianity of our nation today. This doesn’t show God’s approval of, or tolerance towards other religions, but it shows His abhorrence of the degradation to which a once Christian country has sunk.
